What is the difference between the Standard Account and the Islamic Account?
The primary distinction between these two accounts is that Islamic accounts are swap-free and adhere to Sharia Law.
Which trading platforms does JM Financial offer?
We currently only offer trading accounts on the trading platform MT4.
How can I set up a trading account for MT4?
Once you have registered and verified your JM Financial profile, your MT4 account login details will be sent to your registered email address after verifying your ID and proof of residence.
How can I get the MT4 desktop software?
Please go to the trading platform page or the client portal to find the MT4 Windows download button.
How can I get the MT4 mobile app for iOS and Android phones and tablets?
Please go to the trading platform page or the client portal to find the MT4 Android and MT4 IOS download buttons, or use your app store, google play and search for Meta Trader 4
How do I login to MT4 Desktop?
Please choose File >> Login to Trade Account and enter your account number, password, and server information in the appropriate sections then proceed to log in.
How do I login to the MT4 mobile app?
Please select New Account from the Settings menu in the MT4 mobile app. You may get a list of all of our trading servers by entering JMF in the Server area. Please select the server that corresponds to your account. Then, in the appropriate sections, enter your account number and password. Finally, click Sign In in the upper right corner of the screen.
Do JM Financial provide or permit the use of expert advisors (EAs) on trading accounts?
Although we don’t provide our own Expert Advisors, JMF clients are free to use EAs from outside to their trading accounts.
Which partnership plans does JMF provide?

White label broker, Money Managers and Introducing Broker are the partnership plans that JMF offers. The Partnership Section of our website has additional information.

What is an IB exactly (Introducing Broker)?

IBs are people or organizations that refer clients to JMF and earn commissions based on the trading volume of their clients.

How do I apply to create an IB account with JMF?

You can request the creation of an IB account by sending a request via email to [email protected] or by contacting JMF Client Services via WhatsApp.

How frequently are IB rebates paid?

IB Rebates are given out every day.

Am I able to trade using my IB account?

Although you can open a second trading account, you cannot trade on the IB account.

How do I submit a Money manager Account application?

You can request a money manager account creation by sending a request via email to [email protected] or by contacting JMF Client Services via WhatsApp.

Registration

How can I sign up for a JMF demo account?

If you are a new customer, please click on the Open Demo Account icon on the JMF website and complete the application to get started. If you are an existing client of JMF you can simply get a demo account in the client portal.

How can I create a JMF live trading account?

Simply open a live trading account. Complete the application procedure by clicking the Open Live Account button on the JMF home page and your account will be approved within 5 min.

Which base currencies are available for account opening?

Clients can only open trading accounts in USD.

Are the trading terms identical on my actual account and demo account?

The trading conditions for demo accounts are kept as close to those on live accounts as is practical. However, there could be variations in the execution on demo accounts when the market is highly volatile.

What paperwork is needed to start a live trading account?

You will provide a balance statement or utility bill to verify your residence and an acceptable form of photo ID in order to create a live trading account.

What kind of identification is acceptable?

You may choose from the following options:
1 – Passport
2 – A national identity card
3 – Driving license
Please be aware that all photo IDs must be current and clearly include your complete name, birthdate, issue/expiration dates as well as a clear visual of both the front and back side of the card with all corners of the card visible.

What kind of paper is recognized as proof of residence?

“You may choose from the following options:
– Energy Bill (gas, electric, water, phone or internet)
– Account Statement
Please be aware that any papers serving as proof of residency must have your entire name, your complete residential address (no PO Boxes), and a date that is not older than 90 days.”

How can I submit the needed paperwork?

You’ll need to upload your papers through your client portal. If you run into any issues, feel free to submit the papers to [email protected], and our staff will manually process them for you.

How long does it take for my account to be verified?

Accounts are typically approved shortly after the necessary papers are received. If you want a status update on your account, please get in touch with the support staff.

When my account is approved, how will I know?

A confirmation email with your live trading account login details will be sent to you after your account has been validated.

Can I finance my account before it has been verified?

Until your account has been validated and you have been given your live trading account number, you will not be able to fund it.

Funding

Do you charge any fees for deposits?

Although JMF does not charge fees for deposits; a charge is required by the payment service provider and it depends on the payment method. Please refer to our funding and withdrawals page for details.

Where can I find my account balance?

From the Home page of your Client Portal, you may view the balance of your MT4 account, also by logging in into your MT4 account .

How can I deposit?

Through the client portal on the JMF website or by requesting a deposit through our WhatsApp where you’ll receive a payment link and the payment can be done via Knet, Visa / Mastercard as well as Qpay.

What is the recommended minimum amount to fund?

The recommended minimum amount is equivalent to $500 USD.

What are the available currencies I can deposit in?

You can deposit funds in USD, KWD

What conversion rates do you use?

Funds will be converted as per the daily bank rate.

Can I deposit an amount by paying via PayPal etc.?

We only accept payments Via Knet, Visa / Mastercard, Qpay and wire transfers. 

Can I deposit into my Binance account or trade in crypto in JMF?

Unfortunately transferring via Binance is not available on the company’s platform and JM only offers spots and precious metals. We do not provide crypto services.

I’ve deposited my funds, but I don’t see them in my account. What’s happening?

Please allow 5 minutes after funding with a payment link from your funds to be credited to your trading account. If you fund using a wire transfer it might take 3 – 5 working days for the funds to reach your trading account.

I’d like to withdraw my funds to a different bank account, can I do that?

Yes – provided that the name of the bank account is the same as the name on your account. If the name differs (e.g., company name vs personal name), we will not be able to proceed in accordance with strict Anti-Money Laundering Laws. You must provide: Bank name / beneficiary name / IBAN / SWIFT code / account number and also the name as registered in the bank

How can I withdraw?

A withdrawal request can be submitted at any time during business hours via WhatsApp or the client area on our website https://myportal.jmfinancialkw.com/#/login
Withdrawal requests will be processed twice a day: At 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Why have I not received my withdrawal amount into my bank account yet?

A- Bank wire transfers take between 3 – 5 business days for transactions outside Kuwait
B- Visa refunds take 5 – 15 working days.

I forgot my Client Portal Password. What do I do?

are my login details to the client portal the same ones I use to access my trading account?

The login details you use to login to your client portal are different than the ones you use to login to your trading account.

Where can I check my account balance?
From the Home page of your Client Portal, you may view the balance of your MT4 account, also by logging in into your trading account on the MT4 trading platform.
How do I adjust my account’s leverage?
By going to the client portal and clicking Request under the JMF Menu > Change Leverage > click the “”click here”” button under the change leverage area > choose the account and the leverage *The client portal allows the client to only lower the leverage. If you wish to raise the levearge, please contact client services.
How can I create additional trading accounts?
If you wish to add a new account: Go to your Client Portal on our website. click on same name account under JMF Menu>> Choose live or demo >> Continue the steps and you’ll open a new account
How can I create a second trading account in a different currency?
We currently only offer trading accounts with USD.
How many active accounts am I allowed to have open at once?
There can be a maximum of five active accounts.
How can I update my profile’s info or contact information?

To update your profile info or contact information, please send an email to [email protected] from your registered email with the updated info and contact details then our compliance team will update them for you.

How can I change my residential address details or update my ID?

To update your ID or POR, send an email to [email protected] and attach a copy of the updated document.

Trading

How should I start to trade?

As a beginner, a great place to start is to open a demo account and familiarize yourself with the platforms before trading while learning the basics.

What type of spreads are offered by JM Financial?

All of our account types have variable (floating) spreads. This means that the spread will differ based on the prices we are receiving from our deep pool of Liquidity
Providers and will reflect the market conditions of the underlying asset at that specific time.

When is Swap applied?

For standard accounts Swaps will be applied at 1:00 AM Kuwait time, on Wednesday it will be applied for 3 days (Including the weekend)

What types of Execution is applied to JM FINANCIAL trades?

All executions in JM Financial are Market Executions

Is it possible to receive a requote?

Requotes are not possible when trading on a Market Execution environment.

What instruments are available to trade with JM FINANCIAL?

We offer Currency pair (FOREX) and Precious Metals

What is the Smallest/Largest trade I can open?

For forex, the smallest trade size will 0.01 standard lots, and the largest would be 50 lots.

What leverage is available?

The leverage we offer can go up to 1:400 for forex pairs.

Which trading platforms does JM Financial offer?

We currently offer trading accounts on the MT4 trading platform.

Do you offer negative balance protection?

As an STP broker, we do not offer a negative balance protection.
Monitoring the trading account and the risk management are the client’s responsibility.
